Locomotor Disability

Locomotor disability refers to a person's inability to execute activities associated with movement of self and objects, resulting from affliction of musculoskeletal and/or nervous system. 

Major types of locomotor disabilities - 

Cerebral Palsy - 

Cerebral palsy is type of physical disability that is mainly associated with neurological disorders and has quite a significant impact over one's movement and balance. 

Cerebral palsy is an umbrella term used to describe a group of chronic disorders impairing one's movement control. 

Common orthopaedic problems include joint contractures, hip dislocation and scoliosis.
Medical problems include failure to thrive constipation, frequent colds, ear infection and wheezing etc.
