Locomotor Disability
Locomotor disability refers to a person's inability to execute activities associated with movement of self and objects, resulting from affliction of musculoskeletal and/or nervous system.
Major types of locomotor disabilities -
Musculo-skeletal
Cognital malformation
Chronic disabilities like Polio, Spina bifida etc.
Cognital disformities of hips and limbs.
Disformities of spine.
Muscular dystrophy and amputation
Cerebral Palsy -
Cerebral palsy is type of physical disability that is mainly associated with neurological disorders and has quite a significant impact over one's movement and balance.
Cerebral palsy is an umbrella term used to describe a group of chronic disorders impairing one's movement control.
Common orthopaedic problems include joint contractures, hip dislocation and scoliosis.
Medical problems include failure to thrive constipation, frequent colds, ear infection and wheezing etc.

Unbalanced movement
Problem in speaking
Lack of coordination in different body parts
Muscles not able to perform properly
Muscles pain
Involuntary activities

Difficulty in walking, talking, seeing, speaking, sensing or grasping.
Problem in handling food while eating.
Pain in muscles.
Not able to sit comfortably.
Not able to express themselves orally.
Inability to use the limes.

Provided with furniture comfortable to these students
Provided with walker, tricycle, wheelchair etc.
Provision of ramp in the school.
Special toilets for disabled.
Regular PTMs.
Extra time in written examination and provided with scribe whenever required.
Objective questions instead of essay type questions.
Flexibility in evaluation.
Report card must be precise in recording their development.
Teaching should be according to their intellectual level and evaluation should also be accordingly.
